I absolutely love this cigar. Infact the whole line of Carrillo cigars. Always a smooth draw, even burn, and a taste and flavor second to none. By far my favorite cigar.

I like to enjoy a robusto from time to time for lunch. However, the Pledge Prequel is anything but a lunch time cigar. It’s big, it’s bold and oh so satisfying. This is a cigar to be enjoyed with your favorite spirit and company.

Bought a box based on a review on the Holt’s YT channel. They raved about it, and everything they said is true. Nice spiciness, great creamy smoke. I’ll be keeping these as a staple in my humidor until they’re no longer available.

It opens with a punch of black pepper and zesty spice, quickly settling into notes of toasted oak, dark cocoa, and espresso beans.

Second Third: The profile rounds out with a “lip-smacking” spicy sweetness. You may detect hints of black cherry, licorice, and baking spices that create a chewy, dense smoke.

Final Third: The cigar deepens into a more earthy and leathery disposition, often finished with a warm note of baked apple or molasses.
