Always a little unfair to review a cigar right out of the box but here goes. Cigar lit up well and burned evenly throughout. Ash knocked off with nice pyramids, which is indicative of a well constructed cigar. Lots of smoke and an easy draw. Flavor is a little subtle. Sweet cedar mostly. Look forward to trying again after six months in my humidor.
although it did burn quite hot, it’s an extremely well constructed cigar. soft in the mouth, bellows a thick white smoke with just a touch of spice. the retro hale uncovers the underlying sweetness from the African wrapper that has been lost for a few years on cigars. a full flavored medium body cigar worth the slightly elevated price. good job on this one
A bit hard to find for me but was able to score a box of the robustos I have tried the robusta and the toro. The robusto tasted better for me. If you get a chance to find some grab yourself a couple. If you buy just won you will be disappointed you didn’t buy more.
