Perfect morning jump-starter

I have been searching for a mild – light medium morning cigar to help wake up my pallet. I have gone through many Connecticut shade cigars that unfortunately did not fit my pallet. Being a big fan of Casa Carrillo as I smoke the Allegiance daily, I feel ashamed that I had no idea they made a Connecticut cigar. After trying it twice and confirming the third time, I simply fell in love. Of course after buying a couple boxes in different vitolas, I felt ashamed for not knowing! What a fantastic everyday budget friendly cigar. The light pepper notes are just enough to wake up your pallet and the creamy sweetness just rounds everything out! Though I primarily smoke med-full madras, I highly recommend this cigar to anyone that’s looking for a daily morning smoke with coffer or any other time of the day as you will not be disappointed.

My tastes have evolved over the years. While I have not generally been a fan of Connecticut shade wrapped cigars, I am finding myself more recently looking for medium strength shades. While searching for these less favored sticks, I came across this one. I bought a fiver and smoked first one, then another, then another, then another, and found myself without any more in the humidor. I now keep a stock of them at all times and fine myself pulling one when I want to reward myself usually pairing it with a darker beer or a bourbon based beverage. It’s pure enjoyment every single time and has become one of my top five favorites.
